Printing
All of our locations offer black & white printing for 10¢ per page and color printing for 50¢ per page (prices subject to change without notice). All of our locations are also equipped with mobile printing technology so you can print from your phone or tablet, whether you’re at home or in the library! Learn more about mobile printing.
Copy, Scan & Digital Send
Each of our NOPL locations has a multi-function copy machine available for use for a small fee; prices are the same as for printing and are listed above. Double-sided document count as two pages. Documents can also be scanned and sent to an email or saved to a USB flash drive. NOTE: The scanning function is free but requires the deposit of a dime into the payment device, which will be returned to you when scanning is complete.
Faxing
Faxing is available at all three of our branches. At our Cicero branch, faxing is available at the main desk by request for $1 per fax. Our Brewerton and North Syracuse locations offer self-service faxing at the public copier at no cost; faxes are limited to 5 pages . NOTE: The faxing function on the self-service machines requires the deposit of a dime into the payment, which will be returned to you when faxing is complete.
Computers
All of our libraries are equipped with public computers (patrons are limited to two 1 hour sessions per day) with Windows 10 or 11 operating systems. Available software includes Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, Access), Edge and Chrome web browsers, and Adobe Reader.
Chromebooks can be borrowed on a first-come, first-served basis for use within the library only.
For Kids & Teens
There are early literacy computers available for kids in the children’s section of NOPL Brewerton and Cicero. These computers load the ABCMouse website, which offers hundreds of fun interactive early learning activities. Children can play games to help learn essential skills in math, reading, science, social studies, and more.
NOPL Cicero has several public computers reserved just for teen use.
Preservation Studio
This unique space is home to technology that enables visitors to digitize and preserve their photos, videocassettes and slides. Visit the Preservation Studio page to learn more about the equipment and see video demonstrations.
