If you’ve been hibernating all winter, spring is beckoning! Let NOPL help encourage you to get outside with the 2025 Onondaga County Parks Explore Outdoors Pass! Each NOPL location has two passes, available on a first-come, first-served basis. They can be used for admission to Beaver Lake Nature Center, Highland Forest, Jamesville Beach Park, Oneida Shores Park, Pratt’s Falls Park and the Rosamond Gifford Zoo. Fees for other programs or activities at the parks are not covered by the pass. See below for other pass rules. Please note, passes can’t be held, but you can check on the availability of the passes here.

Park Passes can be used at:

  • Beaver Lake Nature Center (one vehicle)
  • Highland Forest (up to four visitors)
  • Jamesville Beach Park (one personal vehicle)
  • Oneida Shores Park (one personal vehicle)
  • Pratt’s Falls Park (up to four visitors)
  • Rosamond Gifford Zoo (up to four visitors)

Park Pass Rules

  • Available for three-day loan, no renewals
  • Non-holdable, non-renewable
  • 1 pass per library card
  • Must be 18 years or older to borrow
  • Passes must be picked up at the library and returned in person
  • Lost pass fee is $65
  • Overdue fine is $2 per day for passes borrowed at NOPL
