Kara is the Marketing & Communications Specialist for NOPL. Her background is in nonprofit program management, marketing, fundraising, and administration. Kara was also a Librarian Assistant for the Local History and Genealogy Department at OCPL's Central Library. She is constantly reading and loves all kinds of movies, music, and quirky Netflix & Apple series. Her avocation is acting, including performing with a regional mystery theater/interactive comedy troupe.

Little Free Library Gets a Makeover

A new Little Free Library is coming to Riverfront Park! Volunteers Jodi Crawford and Allen Angus are breathing new life into an iconic little free library for the Northern Onondaga Public Library (NOPL) Brewerton branch. NOPL Brewerton oversees two little free libraries, including the boat-shaped library at Riverside Park and a cabin library located at the Oneida Shores County Park campgrounds. Both libraries operate seasonally, April through October.
