Do you know that two of our NOPL librarians have their own podcast? Raging Romantics is all about the romance literary genre, of course! Each week, Jen and Jackie chat about new and classic titles, tropes, and trends as well as interview popular romance authors.
Right now, listen to “Just having fun with Emily Rath, part 1”. Rath (photo on the left) is the author of the Jacksonville Rays hockey romance series, the Second Sons regency romance series, and the Tuonela dark fantasy duet. Her books include New York, Times, USA Today, and Amazon # 1 and Best Seller titles. Part 2 of Raging Romantics interview with Rath will be out shortly!
Next up is an interview with Rebecca Romney, available beginning March 21. Romney (photo on the right) is the author of the recently released Jane Austen’s Bookshelf and also Printer’s Error, a collection of fascinating stories from the history of books. She is also a prominent rare books specialist who sold a 100-title collection of romance novels to Lilly Library in Indiana. These diverse books tracing a history of the romance genre were published between 1769 and 1999 and are exhibited as the Love in the Library Collection.
