Visit NOPL Cicero on July 1, 1-3pm, for the NOPL Summer Reading Program kickoff party! Sign up for summer reading, pick up a bag and some fun goodies, and get ready for a great summer of reading, events, and activities.
We will also be joined by the Syracuse Astronomical Society for a Solar Show Spectacular that you won’t want to miss. A member of SAS and amateur astronomer will provide a presentation, including age-appropriate discussion and live views of the sun through a safe, solar telescope and/or near live (camera) images projected onto our large screen TV. In case we are unable to enjoy this show outdoors due to weather, there will be a slideshow discussion of previously captured solar images indoors instead.
