Brewerton Book Discussion Group

Meets the third Thursday of every month at North Syracuse Branch to discuss the monthly selection and share favorite picks and authors.
Everyone’s a Critic Book Discussion Group
Meets the second Tuesday every month from 2-3:30 pm at Cicero Branch. Join us for a one-of-a-kind book discussion group where you bring a recommended book, and you and others share your opinions in a unique and lively forum!
North Syracuse Book Discussion Group

Memoir Book Club
Meets the second Tuesday every month from 6:30-7:30 pm at Brewerton Branch. Memoirs are true, personal stories from an author’s life revolving around universal themes such as coming of age, falling in love, and family. We’ll be reading from the works of writers like David Sedaris, Roxane Gay, and other favorites chosen by book club members!
Mystery Classics Book Discussion
Meets the third Wednesday of every month from 3-4 pm at Cicero Branch. Join us to discuss classic mystery novels from authors such as Ellery Queen, Erle Stanley Gardner, Agatha Christie, and others. During our discussions solve a murder case, these puzzlers offer a wholesome, spellbinding, period escape to the 1920s-1930s. Come prepared to share your favorites and learn about new-to-you whodunits. On occasion, a specific title is selected for the month.
Host Your Own Book Club
We have book club kits that appeal to all types of reading groups, featuring mysteries, popular non-fiction and many New-York Times bestsellers. Each kit contains 10 paperback copies of the same title and a discussion guide. The kits can be checked out for a six-week period on a single library card.
